SEK Education Group, through its Felipe Segovia Foundation, calls for entries for SEK Excellence Scholarships aimed at students of SEK International Schools, with the purpose of supporting the academic, personal, and athletic development of students whose profiles align with the values and competency framework of SEK Education Group.
1. Academic Excellence Scholarships
Aimed at students with a strong academic and personal profile who wish to pursue the SEK University Baccalaureate, either through the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) or through the Baccalaureate pathways offered, at the following authorized schools:
2. María de Villota Scholarship for Personal Efort
Intended to recognize a student who stands out for academic excellence, social commitment, and resilience, to pursue studies in Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), Baccalaureate, or the IB Diploma Programme at SEK International School Ciudalcampo, the school where María de Villota was a student.
3. Felipe Segovia Award for SEK Students
An exceptional distinction exclusively linked to the Academic Excellence Scholarships, intended to recognize an exemplary SEK student for their academic and personal trajectory, as well as for their identification with the values of SEK Education Group.
This Award does not constitute an independent call for applications; rather, it is granted to one of the students selected under the Academic Excellence Scholarships. It enables the recipient to pursue the SEK University Baccalaureate, either through the IB Diploma Programme or through the Baccalaureate pathways offered, at the authorized schools indicated in the call.
The Felipe Segovia Award cannot be applied for independently and may only be awarded as a result of an application to the Academic Excellence Scholarships.
4. Sports Practice Scholarships
Aimed at student-athletes from SEK schools located in Spain, from Primary Education through Baccalaureate or the IB Diploma Programme, with an outstanding sports record, who combine their academic education with federated sports practice and represent their school or the UCJC Sports Club.
5. Sports Development Scholarships
Intended for students enrolled in SEK International Schools in Spain, Dublin, Qatar, and Riyadh, who demonstrate high athletic potential and appropriate academic performance, regardless of the country in which the relevant sports federation is established, provided that it is officially recognized.
Participation in any of these scholarship categories is governed by the requirements, assessment criteria, financial provisions, commitments, and deadlines set out in the Felipe Segovia Foundation Official Scholarship Call – Academic Year 2026–2027, available in full under “Scholarship Information.”
