UCJC’s Integra Project, winner of a Magisterio Award to Education Protagonists 2017

The online newspaper Magisterio has held its Magisterio Awards for Education Protagonists 2017 and Camilo José Cela University was among those organisations awarded. These awards go to the ten best initiatives in education, big and small, public and private, individual and collective, from Spain or abroad.

Camilo José Cela University has received, at a ceremony held at the auditorium of Caixa Forum in Madrid, an award for the social impact of its schemes giving young refugees in Spain access to university studies.

In the case of UCJC, this award is for its Integra Project, a grant scheme for ten international students from conflict-torn countries, who are currently studying different degrees at the university.

The UCJC Integra Project aims to help international students from countries in conflict to access education in different fields and thereby attain the fullest possible personal, social and academic integration in Spain.
